On this Day in 2010: One of the top storm chases in my career. The day that set the record in Minnesota for the most tornadoes in a single day (48.) I tracked a dozen of these tornadoes, spawned from one incredible supercell. The most intense tornado of the bunch was this EF-4 that touched down near the town of Conger and dissipated just before striking Albert Lea, which would have been a major disaster. Unfortunately the tornado did claim 1 life, making it the first killer tornado of my career.

CLASSIC TORNADO OUTBREAK On April 22, 2010, a regional #tornado outbreak occurred including parts of the Texas Panhandle. This storm produced these tornadoes north of Howardwick where highway 70 meets I-40.
